MINI Direct Mail

I just recieved a few copies of the Direct Mail for MINI that I worked on last Month with from Aileen in McConnells. I'm really chuffed with how they laid it out and the quality of the printing, it looks brilliant!

Here's a few photos of it I took myself, must get some proper shots of it done. If you click the images you can see bigger, clearer versions of them.

Self-Made Magazine

There's a great new free publication called Self-Made just out by the Dublin City Enterprise Board that's aimed at freelancers and self made businesses. I was delighted to be asked to do a short interview for an article inside. Here's a dodgy photo of the interview. There's a bigger version there if you click the picture.

Carlsberg Comedy Carnival

I've been working on illustrations for the Carlsberg Comedy Carnival that's on in July with Irish International in the lovely Iveagh Gardens in Dublin. The first press posters are in the papers today. They should be appearing all over the place, buses, 48 sheets and the like.

Looks like a great line up. I was over there this morning there's a great sculpture exhibition on at the moment, I highly recommend a visit. You can eat your lunch in the sun to!

Giraffe in Ameriky

We're delighted to see our plush toys made it across the Atlantic safe and sound. Just clicked into the Crammed Organisms website and there was Mr. Giraffe head in among lots of boxes on the homepage!

It's exactly a week to the opening of Stratus, the online exhibition with Turtlehead. Here's the little blurb about. Drop in if you're online next Monday:

Turtlehead are proud to announce Stratus, an online exhibition of 22 new paintings by Chris Judge produced exclusively for this show. Every painting bought comes with a free limited edition t-shirt designed by Chris. If you live in Ireland you'll also receive a complimentary voucher for a nice wine shop as we couldn't figure out how to email glasses of wine without wrecking your computer. Also, all the shipping free.

The exhibition goes live on Monday, 19th May at 4pm on www.turtlehead.ie

We hope you can make it to the show.

Wood Beasts

We were down in Glendalough the weekend before last and spotted a few more beasts skulking around on one of the walks we took over the weekend. These two eejits had stolen a fork from a picnic area and were curious about how electricity works...

This was going to be used as a poster for Maximum Joy but the gig was pulled at the last minute. Bren B had made an amazing start on the text so I'll post it here if he gets a chance to finish it.

Print Magazine European Issue

The new issue of Print Magazine, which is the European design annual, has just hit the stands. I'm really lucky to have been asked to be one of the featured members of the "12 Illustrators whose work you need to see" section.

I'll put up the full interview here with all my illustrations they've included when I get my hands on a copy of the mag. Here's a link to the online interview minus pics for now anyway.

Very exciting altogether!
